About

Hello, I am a fisheries biologist who spends much of my free time snorkeling streams and taking photos and video of the abundant animals that call our inland waterways home. Through the magic of a dry suit I am able to get out and explore all year which provides me some interesting insight in where fish and aquatic organisms hang out during different times of the year. I especially like documenting many of the unsung native species that are great fun to observe. Feel free to comment and let me know if you have any questions.

If you have not tries snorkeling I highly recommend it, It’s amazing what you will find under the surface and it takes very little to get started, A mask and a snorkel is really all you need during the summer. Our local waterbodies, even urban stream always provide surprises. I use simple equipment for my photos and video (I can’t afford a high end setup), but I get good results with my Olympus TG-5 point and shoot camera. Get out and check out some of our local streams, lakes and ponds.
